Hello!
Hello!
It’s good to see you!
Will you be my friend?
If you will
I can tell you some stories
Fifty stories to last you your lifetime
Some will inspire
Some will make you laugh
Some you won’t like
But hopefully you’ll understand
They all say
Hello there my friend
Childhood yesterday
When work was less than play
And we talked and laughed all day
It seemed that it would stay this way
But it didn’t, and it faded away
Now it’s work and no play
And we speak every other day
As a child may
We wished it was still yesterday
Asleep at the wheel
Don’t sleep
I’ve got to drive
Don’t sleep
I’ve got to stay awake
Don’t sleep
Eyelids get heavy
Don’t sleep
Hands lose grip of the wheel
Don’t sleep
Eyes blur
Hands fall
Wake up!
Road ends
Car veers off
Car hits a wall
In a coma
You won’t
Wake up
Love
Bitter the fruit which
Sprouts from love
This feeling from within
I love you without reason
Which is why I can’t go on
I want to stop knowing you
Yet I want to be close to you
The Gods of pity spit on me
How I hate to love you
Running of the bulls
In Spain, on a day of celebration
The cattle are gathered in the market
In the square, lovers meet together
He asks for her hand in marriage
She says yes
He’s happy
He goes off to run alongside the bulls
Under feet they find him
His heart no longer beating
Never loved Christmas
I never loved Christmas
Never believed in Santa
Who believes in flying reindeers?
And a fat man who goes down chimneys?
I would if I could
But I’ve been raised on dreidels
David’s star hangs on our window
Bright as any beacon, shining so brightly
Telling Santa to keep away
Two dogs
Two dogs lived door to door
‘Love thy Neighbour’ says the Bible
However these dogs fought day and night
They fought over every possible thing
One day one of them died
The other won the war
Crying, he said to his dying comrade
“What were we fighting about my friend?”
Forgotten
Where are the keys?
Here they are
Damn, now I forgot
Which car park I parked in!
Oh yeah, the west one!
But damn, where’s the ticket?
Crap, oh! It’s in my wallet
But shit I left my son somewhere!
Wait! He’s with the wife!
So where are the keys?
The moment of truth
It’s my Birthday!
I’m grown up!
I wonder what people got me?
Maybe a games console?
Or even a puppy?
I wonder what Mum and Dad got me?
I run into the room
Mum and Dad are there
They’ve got a surprise!
“Dear, we’ve got news…
I’m afraid you’re adopted”
The boy with no eyes
There lived a boy with no eyes
He could not see
His friend had said
“Tell you what, I’ll give you my eyes when I die”
So the boy with no eyes
Waited and waited for his death
But alas!
The bear that attacked his friend
Left nothing to spare…
Red Riding hood
In the darken forest
A young girl hides
Under a red riding hood
Here, a guardian protects her
A big black wolf
Who loves her dearly
But one day, he is hunted down
She cries over him
Forever chained by misery
That he tried so desperately
To free her from
Though…
Though I sit so close to you
I never felt your pain
Though I hold your hand
I never realised your fears
Though we live in the same world
I never realised how alone you felt
So I’ll open up for you
Because my heart has room for it all
Shooting star
There was a boy who fell in love
With a shooting star
But soon she would leave
Never to return in his lifetime
Sadden by this, he cried sorrowfully
So he made a wish using her
To give her his life’s share
Of love to last her in cold space
Umbrella
The two of them
Were surely destined to meet
For see, how happy they are
And how they smile so blissfully
I knew that they loved each other
Because they shine so brightly
They were truly a perfect couple
For how couldn’t it be?
They had both forgotten their umbrellas
How the heart works
If I were to fall in love with another
Would our love end?
If you were to fall in love with another
Would our love end?
There isn’t an end or a start
A beginning or end
Because our love stays forever inside us
That’s just how the heart works
Little girl lost
Trying to find her way home
But she never lost her way
Crying she asks herself
“Can I even smile?”
Hoping no more tears would fall
As she made her way home
Only you can make yourself happy
In this lost world of yours
When will she make it home?
The boy who flew
That boy could fly
But no one cared
He visited Jupiter
In his tiny head
Everyone laughed at him
Laughing away
That boy could fly
But no one knew
And he grew up
To a fine man
One that could fly
Though he used a plane
He never stopped flying
Rain
Standing in the rain
Makes me feel revived and ne
w
For someone like me
The rain is my favourite weather
Every drop of rain
Is a miracle in my eyes
Who cares about the sunny days
When I’m so happy in the rain
Watching it fall
Brings no better joy
Lollipop
Crying, the boy wails
Until a girl hands him her lollipop
Silence befalls him
As he smiles yet again
Hand in hand they walk
Lollipop-coloured tongues
When either is sad
The other hands them a lollipop
The lollipops are gone now
But something more important stays
Deep within their hearts
Cat in the box
In physics there is a theory
That a cat in a box is both alive and dead
Don’t take a peek though!
Because you don’t know which it is!
Inside, the cat travels
To parallel worlds
To the future and past
Witnesses the birth of the cosmos
Inside this box
Strangers in a lift
Stepping into the lift
I’m ambushed by cupid’s arrow
Who knew that angels
Used lifts to return to heaven!
Words unspoken
As we climbed to the sky
Innocent love beats quietly
As she leaves
Without knowing anything about me
How silly of my heart
To have been stolen so easily
Stubborn stains
A mark left unchecked
That lay upon my shirt
Forever reminds me of you
People try to leave their marks
So to live forever
But your stubborn stains differ
I left them there to remind me
To teach me
Because you’ve always held my hand
With just a simple stain
Consider me
Consider me dead
If you were to leave me
Consider me sick
If you were to betray me
Consider me broken
Should you stop trusting me
Don’t even consider me
Should I not hold a place in your heart
But consider me everything
Should you love me too
Consider me

Why?
If they used one to look back
They would
